The contemporary audience today is multifaceted. Each art exhibition needs to be conceptually complex, yet experientially entertaining. The definitions of mediums, highs and lows, are more fluid now than ever. HUMANMAKES exhibitions aim to bring foreign artists and local talents together in cross-cultural, medium-clashing artistic conversations. Each unique edition will serve as an opportunity to discover local spaces and regional narratives, bringing together foreign artists and local perspectives, traditional art forms, and new art mediums. In keeping with Recharge Foundation’s tradition of supporting artists who have backgrounds in traditional work processes but dare to create new forms of interpretations and to challenge definitions, the eclectic program will appeal to a wide range of audience ranging from art connoisseurs, jewelry aficionados, and tradition advocates.
